SCHOOL SCRIP PROGRAM

Based on feedback we have received from various parents, there will be a

BUY OUT “ option of the SCRIP requirement for 2010-2011 school year.

The SCRIP year starts on June1, 2010 and ends on May 31, 2011.

The “BUY OUT” option is $200 paid in a separate check to the SCRIP program. In September, Fr Tony, Ms Everett and the Consultative Board will meet to discuss the distribution of these funds and what school programs they will support.  This year’s pilot program provided some student assistance.

We are also pleased to announce that we will have SCRIP available to purchase in the office starting on Monday, June 14th.  We will have approximately $7500 worth of SCRIP available.

They include the following:.

SCRIP Gift Cards                    Denominations

American Express                 $100

Lucky                                                     $25

Safeway                                     $25

                                                                   $100

Smart and Final                       $100

Dennis Uniform                        $20

Walgreen’s                                $25

We will keep these in the office through out the summer.

The use of credit cards in purchasing SCRIP is being researched at this time.  More information regarding the SCRIP program will be forthcoming this summer, especially regarding ideas sent in from the parent community.  We will take some time to review these ideas.
